dc.description.abstractA novel and efficient procedure for the synthesis of furo[3,2-c] coumarins from readily available 4-oxohydrocoumarins and alkenes in the presence of a catalytic amount of Pd(CF3COO)2 has been developed. Atom-economical characteristics and mild conditions of this method are in accord with the concept of modern green chemistry.
