Abstract
This paper presents a new analytical framework for congestion control in Internet traffic using a queue‑threshold scheme. The framework introduces two discrete‑time analytical models for evaluating the performance of threshold‑based congestion control mechanisms and compares their behaviour through representative numerical results.
